Cake batter truffles

These things are soooo good (and pretty cute as well). I brought some to my friends for their birthdays, and they even said that it could be something from Starbucks. The cake batter in the middle is very rich and dense, but you can’t have too much sweet, right? Also unlike many other truffles I’ve seen, you don’t need to bake these at all. You could also make these in any type cake you want and decorate it any way, but funfetti is great for birthdays. Hope you like it!

Prep time: 45 minutes

Cook time:

Total time: 45 minutes

  • 10 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups funfetti cake mix
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • (About) 16 oz white chocolate
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • Sprinkles to top

  1. Blend butter, cake mix, sugar, flour, and vanilla extract until dough forms
  2. Scoop 1 tablespoon size and roll into a ball and put on a baking sheet
  3. Place in freezer for 10 minutes
  4. While the dough is chilling, melt white chocolate and oil until smooth
  5. Dip in each dough ball into chocolate and place back on the sheet
  6. Top with sprinkles and/or more chocolate and put in fridge for at least 20 minutes to harden

 Enjoy šŸ™‚
